Major: Sport Management and Operations Management; Mechanical Engineering

Hometown: Smyrna, Delaware; Bethesda Maryland

Career Goal: Become a front office executive for an MLS franchise; Work with cars

The brothers of Lambda Chi Alpha have chosen Andrew and Shaswot as their Brothers of the Month for March 2017. Andrew and Shaz were our UDance representatives for the past year and did an amazing job with their innovative ideas, breaking our goal for the year by almost $10,000! Andrew is originally from Smyrna Delaware, and previously served as our High Delta and will be graduating this semester to begin working at Delaware Turf Sports Complex. Andrew says that UDance was the highlight of his college career, and hopes to continue his involvement throughout his life. Shaz is originally from Canada and has an extensive background in community service. Shaz was initiated in the Spring of 2016 and has worked closely with our High Theta in all forms of philanthropy and service ever since.  Both Brothers have done amazing job, not only this past month, but throughout their time in Lambda Chi. Although we are sadly losing Andrew at the end of this semester, we expect big things from him in his career and life. Meanwhile, Shaswot will still be around for another 2 years, plenty of time for him to continue his efforts in improving the brotherhood and potentially even hold a High Zeta position where he can make his impacts even larger.

April 2017

MoritzBOM.jpg

Name: Moritz Schelp LB995

Hometown: Marburg, Hesse, Germany

Major: Civil Engineering

The Brothers of Lambda-Beta Zeta have chosen Moritz Schelp as their Brother of he Month for the Month of April! Moritz stepped up and took over as our Airband Chair for this years Greek Week. Through his infectiously fun attitude, great choreography, and amazing theme of "A Night at the Lambda House" (a spinoff of Will Ferrell's "A Night at the Roxbury"), Moritz managed to lead us to the podium this year as third place! Moritz was born and raised in Germany, and is a huge fan of both playing soccer and watching his favorite team, FC Bayern Munich. Ever since his initiation in the Fall of 2014, Moritz has been a centerpiece to the fun, positive attitude of the chapter, and has put it to great work for us this year as our Airband Chair!

February 2017

Name: Stephen Kramer ΛΒ 1028

Major: Economics, Finance

Hometown: Wilmington, Delaware

Career Goal: To be a successful business man

The brothers of Lambda Chi Alpha have chosen Stephen to represent them as their Brother of the Month for February 2017. This is Stephen’s second time receiving this award, and it is very well deserved. Being initiated in the Fall of 2015, Stephen became Brother of the Month very quickly in April of 2016 for his planning of the Fraternity-wide trip to Delaware’s Point to Point horse race. Stephen has continued his efforts to guide the brotherhood in the right direction by his election as our new High Phi, and by being the driving force behind the Fraternity’s efforts to better ourselves through educational speakers that go beyond simply what is required of us. Outside of the brotherhood, Stephen is an excellent student, a member of the University’s Residence Life & Housing team, and an avid fan of baseball and football (Cleveland Browns fan, unfortunately). Last Fall, Stephen even brought his little Brother, Jason, out to the Fraternity, making Lambda Chi a Kramer-family affair. Although who is the better Kramer brother is still a topic of hot debate, Stephen is making a valiant effort to prove himself superior.

Name: Kilian Teschko ΛΒ 1001

Major: Political Science, Minor: History

Hometown: Lumberton, NJ

Career Goal: To practice international law

The brothers of Lambda Chi Alpha have chosen Kilian to represent them as their Brother of the Month for September 2016. Kilian was initiated in the spring of 2015 and has been extremely involved in the fraternity ever since. Kilian, along with his little brother Kyle, headed a complete renovation of our chapter house’s basement. It involved taking down the walls that were there, fixing electrical problems, putting up new walls, and painting awesome designs on the new dry wall. It is extremely impressive and you should come to the house to check it out! Outside of the fraternity, Kilian is a part of blue hen’s veterans and is an employee at wings to go so go say hi to him there! His hobbies include skiing, playing soccer, and going to the gym. Be sure to go up and say hi to Kilian if you see him around campus!
